StayTemplate — Terms of Service

By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

StayTemplate sells premium, ready-made templates and themes for WordPress and Shopify, delivered as digital downloads. We do not build, host, or maintain websites on behalf of customers unless separately agreed as a custom request.

You may need to create an account to purchase or access certain Products. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

When you purchase a Product, StayTemplate grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the template according to the license type selected at checkout:

• Standard License: Use on a single live website.
• Extended License: Use across multiple sites or client projects, where explicitly offered.

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or repackage any Product — modified or unmodified — as a standalone template, theme, or competing product.

All prices are listed in the currency displayed at checkout and are subject to change without notice. Payments are processed securely through Stripe and PayPal. By completing a purchase, you authorize StayTemplate to charge your selected payment method for the full order amount.

Refund requests are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy. In summary, requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of purchase and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis for verified technical defects or billing errors.

All Products, including their code, design, graphics, and documentation, remain the intellectual property of StayTemplate or its licensors. Purchasing a Product grants you a license to use it under these Terms — it does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

You agree not to:

• Use the Site or Products for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute Products outside the scope of your license
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the Site's normal operation

The Site relies on third-party services, including Stripe and PayPal for payment processing, and may reference third-party plugins or page builders (such as Elementor). We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of these third-party services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StayTemplate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or any Product, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

Products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that any template will be error-free, compatible with every plugin or hosting environment, or uninterrupted.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to purchased Products if you violate these Terms, including through unauthorized chargebacks or license misuse.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which StayTemplate operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
